Monroe Detention Center
The Monroe Detention facility is the main inmate holding facility for Yolo County. All the Yolo County law enforcement agencies bring their arrestees here to be booked, processed, and housed. The Monroe Detention facility is a medium to maximum security facility rated to house prisoners of virtually every security classification. This facility has been upgraded with a new booking area and a new medical and mental health wing.
Walter J. Leinberger Memorial Center
Currently, the Leinberger Facility has been demolished and a new building is being constructed in its place. The new facility is scheduled to be completed in December of 2022.
